Do registration and friend search use the same system?
Use the same system: start by registering, complete all required information, then submit it for staff review before friend-search access is enabled.
Do I need to attach proof of education or language ability?
The form currently does not allow attaching supporting documents. Please state your highest completed education level and related information, as well as your English and Japanese proficiency levels based on your own information. If you have no test results, you may select "No test result yet."
Who can see my information?
You choose which information to disclose to other members. Undisclosed information will not be shown or used as a search filter. Staff use data only as required for their duties in checking and maintaining the system.
Where are my cohort's graduation photos?
The Cohort Directory structure, sorted by graduation year (B.E.), is ready. We are waiting for real photos and each year's faculty order data, so mock-up images are not yet shown as actual graduation photos.
What information must be completed before submitting?
Enter your current information, highest completed education level, English and Japanese language abilities, and full date and month of birth before submitting the request. Attachments are not required yet. If you select that you have no test results yet, you do not need to enter the score and test date. If you enter test results, the system will ask you to fill in the related test details.
Request sent — can I search for friends now?
Friend search access will be enabled only after staff review and approval. You can track the status of your request in the member system.
Does it cost money to register as an association member?
First-time registration as an associate member is free of charge. Sign up with a Google account at member.tnialumni.com
How many membership types are there?
The regulations specify 4 types: ordinary, associate, honorary and corporate. See the association regulations page for details.
How do I become an ordinary member?
The Association is currently accepting associate members first. When other membership types open, the announcement will be made via the Association's website and Facebook page.
Buying or donating: where do I pay, and is it safe?
Payment must be made only through the association's system at member.tnialumni.com. The system checks slips and issues receipts. The association will never ask you to transfer money via private chat. If you are unsure, please contact the association first.
Can donation receipts be used for tax deductions?
The association's receipts do not currently specify tax deduction eligibility. If you intend to use them for tax purposes, please contact the association before donating.
How can I contact the association?
Send a message through the association's contact page or the association's Facebook page (TNI Alumni Association). The office is located at the Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology building, Phatthanakan Road.
